â€" What simple things can we do to improve our health?

â€" As for the diet, I encourage everyone to enjoy delicious whole fruits! Fruit is great for breakfast & for energy! Fruit washes the body clean, and energizes, lubricates & hydrates cells!

â€" Citrus is in season during the cold months, so enjoy it when you can! Have 5-8 oranges for breakfast & see how you feel! Or make a glass of fresh orange juice!

â€" Salads are full of fiber & are very alkalizing for the body's tissues!

Acidosis & inflammation may become a thing of the past! Think of things like celery, cucumber & lettuce to make a delicious mixed green salad w/ a nice low fat salad dressing!

â€" If you focus on having raw, organic, fresh fruits & vegetables + small amounts of nuts & seeds as the basis of your diet you'll be automatically avoiding so many chemicals that are present in the so-called 'normal' foods of today such as soda pop, breads, NON-raw dairy products, processed carbohydrate snacks & sweets. These chemicals may disrupt the function of our bodies, w/ some people ending up overweight, others w/ kidney problems, others w/ psychological problems, etc.

â€" Educate your mind on RAW, LIVING FOODS! You do NOT have to be a 100% raw foodist, but I've observed that the higher the % of raw, organic fruits & veggies that one eats, the more energy that one's body is going to have to FUNCTION, as well as to HEAL one's self!

â€" Also, if there's a juice bar near where you live and/or work, then go to it! Even I go to juice bars regularly! It's a great way to get another fresh, healthy juice into your system throughout the day, plus it is one of the few places that you can socialize where you won't be made fun of for turning into a health nut! :D

â€" The green juices are going to alkalize, hydrate & cleanse out all the old inflamed cells of the body! Try to have at least a juice a day! On the side of the healing, aim closer to the green juices w/ some of the more bitter, healing herbs & leafy greens in them such as dandelion greens, nettles, celery, kale, cilantro, etc.

â€" WALKING is important! WALKING IS THE #1 TONER of your BODY & all of its organs & tissues! Also for your mind it helps to process things! There is nothing like going out for a walk to breathe fresh air in & get your heart pumping! I find the healing benefits of walking ALONE to be really great! But walks w/ a partner are great too! Krista & I each do our own solo walks, plus do walks together!

â€" When you wake up in the morning, a great habit to acquire is to first have a glass of fresh spring water w/ a lemon squeezed into it, which helps to flush out everything thru the kidneys & colon from the night before.

â€" Move towards whole, organic & unprocessed food! This change will most likely NOT just happen overnight, so take your time, having cooked foods is okay just have ones that are less processed & that are as natural as possible.

â€" Focus on having fruit as your breakfast! Or a smoothie! In a blender just blend together a couple of bananas, a bit of water, a handful of leafy greens like spinach, maybe an apple

â€" Consuming primarily high-water fruits & vegetables + walking + resting are THE BEST things that one can do to lose weight both quickly & healthfully!

â€" If you just start...you're going to be experiencing miracles very soon & will not want to stop getting more & more healthy!
